Ikea Creates Daycare for Men – Manland

In an effort to keep men happy and their wives and girlfriends spending, IKEA created Manland, a makeshift daycare where men can hang out while their wives shop through the aisles of IKEA.

Complete with pinball machines, arcade games and snacks, men can hang out in Manland for a good 30 minutes, after which time their wives’ and girlfriends’ buzzer goes off and they are reminded that it is time to pick up their man from Manland and be on their merry way.

Do you think this is a great way to keep couples spending? Or is this just an insulting gimmick that will turn men off? You decide. Watch the video below.

Personally, I think they should create the female equivalent in Future Shop and Best Buy.
