Bright colors can be great when used sparingly; they can be used to highlight certain areas in the home that go with a lighter, more neutral color scheme. Some of the brighter colors are also known to invoke different emotional responses from potential buyers.

Blue: described as the productive color, blue helps concentration and calmness, and is often used in offices. Blue is also the most popular color among men.

Yellow: is the color often associated with being cheerful and happy. However, yellow is also likely to hurt the eye similar to pure white and so should be used sparingly around the house.

Red: is the color commonly associated with passion and energy, and is the opposite of blue. Red can create appetite so is often used in the dining room; however, it also has been known to discourage work and concentration, so it might not be the best color if the dining table is going to be multipurpose.

A quick coat of paint could be a great, inexpensive way to make your home more desirable for sale. Houses that sell quickly are also more likely to go for a better price, and a good paint job may help you do just that.
