Q&A with Smart Sellers who saved $12,000 in commission*

Terra Hovde, Randy Tripp, and their adorable dog outgrew their first home and decided to make the move to a larger property.

They sold their beloved Edmonton home with ComFree Commonsense Network brokerage and saved $12,000 in commission!

We contacted them for an exclusive Q&A.

What made you choose ComFree?

We decided to sell our property through ComFree to save on agent commission.  Moving to a larger property any savings really helps budget wise.

How would you describe your experience?

My experience with ComFree was great!  Since this was my first home sale we had quite a few questions. The team at ComFree was very friendly and always helpful.  They answered any and all questions we had and made it easy for us to navigate the site and fill out all of the paperwork.

I would recommend using ComFree to anyone wanting to save on commission and I will be using ComFree again with any future sales I may have.

Which services did you find most valuable?

The people themselves; if I had any questions they were always helpful. Also, the online site was easy to navigate and made it simple to update my MLS® listing, photos, and property features.

What did you do with the money you saved?

I used the savings as extra down payment on my new property.

*When compared to a commission of 7%/3%, rounded down to the nearest thousand. May not include remuneration pad to the buyer’s agent, if any.

This is great! Homeowners need to see the point of the matter is that is is possible to make a sale or buy as an individual. Sometimes like in this case you will have individuals saving tens of thousands of dollars.
